TONANI had the previous model, this one is a serious upgrade I love the options that it gives me. I can still run the effect loop through my Marshal DSL or run a simplified in line rig your choice and by pass to my tuner for silent tuning Great for playing swells and making key rhythms and leads pop!Yes
Glenn ByrdI had been shopping for a regular volume pedal, but the adjustments on this one make it very nice to use.I used to use a boost pedal, now I'm using this with it set at Unity at about 75 percent, and then floor it for A boost.Yes
Ryan MurthaIf you are using a separate volume pedal and clean boost, and want to simplify your rig, you might consider this. Adjustable boost up to 20db, clean, quiet, transparent.Yes

Arthur ZatarainVery well made pedal, comfortable, adjustable, with both stereo and expression pedal features. I've tried cheap pedals in the past and won't go there ever again. This Boss pedal is not cheap, but it's well worth the cost.Yes
Matthew ClarkWorks exactly as I expected it to -- perfectly! I bought this one specifically for the dual I/O (my keyboard rig is stereo), and also for the minimum volume adjustment. It's heavy, solid and sturdy, and doesn't slide around at all (on the right flooring, of course). It feel so well-built and reliable that I expect to be using this for years!Yes
Paul HeavenI originally bought an Ernie Ball volume pedal to replace my very old Dunlop, but did not realize that they come in low and high impedance. I got this one over the Ernie Ball primarily because it has a metal device for actuation rather than the string on the Ernie Ball. I am very happy with this; I use it primarily for organ patches on my Electro 73. The minimum volume adjustment knob makes it easy to get the proper level of swell, so that you have the whole play of the pedal in a linear increase from lowest that you choose up to the highest.Yes

PaulI really didn't know if I was going to like the size of it or not, but in a lot of ways, it is easier to use than larger volume pedal that I had! It fits my pedal board with no problems and has freed up space for me to use for other things. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that needs a volume/wah pedal and space is a premium. My only con is that in order to use the wah function, you have to change the switch on the side of the pedal to wah mode, otherwise it only functions as a volume pedal. If it would work as both without having to switch it on the side, that would be absolutely astounding!! It is rugged and well built so I know it's going to last me for a good while!Yes
ClarkjitAs everyone says this is a nice Wha pedal. I did get the DonnerDirect power supply and it was very noisy. If you get one that is bad send them a e-mail and will send you another supply. Back to the pedal I have used the volume selection a couple of times. But find myself playing with the Wha every night. It feels heavy duty. I have a size 11 foot. It being small does not take away from the experience. Or make it harder to use. Nice range and fun to use.Yes
Christopher B.My first foray into using a wah/volume pedal and it's great. Threw it on my board for a gig yesterday to add some textures to lead parts/ebow fills/swells and it worked great. The size is a huge advantage as well, not to mention the price.Yes

Allen BuieI liked everything about the pedal when it first arrived except that the minimum volume knob did not completely kill the volume when turned all the way down with the heel of the pedal down too. I sent that pedal back to Morley and they returned it to me in a week or so. This time the volume was zero when the minimum volume knob was all the way down and the heel of the pedal was depressed. Feels great and does just what I expected!Yes
Kim WeissbrodtAfter seeing this in use by a pro guitar person other than Mr. Vai, I figured this is probably a pretty awesome volume pedal. Yup. It is. Silent. Battery frugal, cheap even. Smooth as melted butter. Built like something to use in outer space, it's heavy and going to move, the rubber feety things are awesome. Another Morley super practical, pretty, pro piece of equipment.Yes
DjangoThis pedal works great . Very precise! I can keep my guitar pickups wide open this way!Yes

Mike HuntReviewing this since there's not too many reviews here. This is a great pedal for the money. FIRST, the size. it's tiny. a little bigger than a tubescreamer. it fits nicely on my pedalboard, which has no room for my Morley Alligator now. SECOND, it's passive, so all you crazy gearheads might not like it. if you're John Petrucci, you're gonna hate it. if you're Dan Auerbach, you're gonna love it. if you're looking for super clean pristine sound, you're gonna wanna spend more money. i wish the taper were a little more sensitive and that there was more room between 'sound' and 'no sound' but for 50 bucks, a pedal this size, and passive technology, you'll do no better than this pedal. If you're looking for a pedalboard to turn down a little during the quiet parts of the songs or to do some swells, this is a great pedal. as long as you know what you're buying you'll love this thing. i do.Yes
MitchSmallest vol/exp pedal I know of. Works great and weighs nothing. Easy to pack with any of my instruments.Yes
NoahCool little volume pedal. Works great - no added noise or hum. It's lightweight, well constructed and doesn't take up much space on the pedal board.Yes

Henry BaileyI wanted an ‘entry level’ volume pedal to practice with in order to see whether I would go on to include this sound in my jazz guitar playing (eg on some jazz blues soloing). The plan is that if this works for me, I may eventually invest in a higher-performance unit. Given the price, I was not expecting great sound, but it actually plays quite well. I am really happy with it. I play a Dot through a Roland JC120 with no other effects. At this stage I cannot see how a higher priced volume pedal would deliver any better sound than this one does.Yes
Geoffrey ReynoldsThis thing does what it's supposed to do. I love stuff like this that's lightweight and well-made right? We take care of our plastic dot-dot well-madeYes
L. FlackGreat pedal for the price. Pedal is light weight due to be made of plastic. But is very sturdy. Like being able to set the limits with the control under the pedal.Yes

Randall C KempFor what you pay, this is a great pedal. (Got a discount with Prime)
I was expecting to receive a dinky pedal about the size of my hand. This is a sturdy large pedal, even wider than my guitar wah pedal. I bought this for use with my Yamaha Reface. This is a great buy for amazon Primer's.
Yes
JeffRuLzThis pedal opens new doors in your performance. It is as large as your foot so yo will not lose in under the boards. It can be adjusted for a sitting or standing performance. Out of the box it is ready to be used as a foot volume pedal. If you have a Yamaha mx49 kr above you can also assign your own jobs to have it perform. Ymthe most important point is this is a well built metal pedal with a rubber coating. It is designed for professional use, without question, thankfully yamaha priced it low enough for us all to enjoy. I have had a blast with both my Yamaha controller and my pedal. It truelly makes creating music, however bad I am at it. Lol great new toyYes
Yensid MavenBeen using this particular model Yamaha volume pedal since the 1980s. This is the same pedal that was included when a Yamaha keyboard (like a DX7 or KX88) was purchased. These days you don't get accessories for "free" when a keyboard is purchased ... but the FC7 is fairly priced and solidly built - so well worth it. I just recently replaced one that I had been heavily using since the mid-1980s ... so they last. The pedal feels good under your foot and it is smooth. If you use more than one, they can be conveniently attached together. The FC7 is one of those rare musical products that hasn't been cheapened over time. I've used it with countless brands of electronic keyboards over the years - so it works with any keyboard that has a pedal input.Yes

BEST VOLUME PEDALS BUYING GUIDE

There’s several variations of volume pedals in the market today. Before you start adding new pedals to your signal chain, you might want to think about it before buying one. It is better to consider different factors because not all volume pedals are the same. Try considering the following factors first so you surely get the most of what you pay for.

Built and Material

Volume pedals that are made of metals are preferable instead of plastic made. Metal-built pedals are more reliable and long-lasting.

Sound

Since these pedals control the volume of the guitar, it is better to test its sound quality. The units shouldn’t have distorting noise or any tone loss when playing through the pedals.

Other features

Find out the different features the volume pedals offer. Some units come in 2-in-1 options. Also, there are also volume pedals that offer taper adjustments, minimum volume, additional gain, and a tuner output.
